Creating Identities gives those of mixed heritage and ethnic minority a chance to build their confidence and skills to support new training and employment.
Working with experienced artist-educators, students are discovering more about their own heritage and identity to create contemporary art.
This intensive course in 2010 culminated in a public exhibition, showcasing contemporary artwork from a vibrant mixture of personal, multiple-heritage backgrounds.
We plan to run the course repeatedly so please check back or email us to express your interest, we can then let you know when it runs again!
We will soon be seeking 10 lucky, unemployed ethnic minority or mixed / dual heritage people to participate in an exciting, short art and design course!
Are you motivated, interested in art and design and want to improve your job and training prospects? This taster course will take place for one week only and will help you get ready for a BIGGER COURSE we are arranging!
The workshops are a special mixture of multimedia art skills, creative practice (speaking and writing) and personal development, leading to empowerment and improved work and training prospects.
