I was born and raised in England and raised by my mother and father (non biological father). My father is half Arabic and my mother comes from a gypsy background. Whilst growing up I spent some of my time in South Africa, where my father's family live. Searching to find my identity, who I am and where I come from is something that is really important to me and I am hoping to explore this through art on this course. I love to draw, write and have a keen interest in photography. I work with body and mind through artworks.
Sorry that I missed last week’s session, I was quite ill..all better though now! Wouls like to see everyone’s work from Helen’s workshop tomorrow too. Only 2 more days until the exhibition now, hope everyone is feeling ok about it..I’m quite nervous! It will be great though. See you all tomorrow. x
Another creative two days on the course. Really enjoyed Bob’s sound workshop yesterday, the blinfolding experiment was interesting..and quite amusing too! Another lovely day on the course. Really enjoying the circle/meditation exercise, finding it quite useful and will start to try it at home! Listening to everyone’s poems today was very nice, a lot of lovely and true words. Getting to know people a bit better too which is great..looking forward to next week..and keep up [...]
